Paradoxium Returns #0: Cipher

If you ever try to describe Zips to someone, please don't call him a Pokemon. Call him a boxy cat rabbit thing with Kirby arms. Just anything but Pokemon.

If this is your first time, welcome! If you're here to check out the new version, welcome back!

If you're returning, note the differences in the website's design. On the left, there's a link to what I call the notes blog. The link will have the most recent (uploaded) comic's notes; the blog will have all the notes. It's very underdeveloped, but that (may) change soon.

On the right, we have the News Blog, which is my old personal blog re-purposed for acting as the news source, updated as I see fit. So from now on, everything in this section will just be witty comics by me for you. Or I may just take that out altogether and replace that with the alt-text, which is obtained by mousing over the image. Which I did do.

Paradoxium Returns #21: Dimensional Gate

Like I promised, here's another comic! I'm going to try my best to get the posting a little more regular... but given the fact that it's my last semester of High School with AP tests fast approaching, that's not gonna happen very frequently.

Does that even make sense? Of course, it doesn't matter. You're here to read this:

When the shards of the Omniverse are one... but no promises.

Notes:
  • I think that the art style is coming closer and closer to a definite style. Solid, smooth objects have gradients; fluid, rough objects have brush strokes, and characters are characters.
  • More will be revealed about the destruction of the original universe soon.

Paradoxium Returns #14: The Sensing

Well, here we are again. It's the first Tuesday of the month of December, so that means we've almost been going for five months. As for the comic, this week, we have one that develops the Omniverse a little bit more.

Just as day breaks, so does darkness form...

Notes:
  • This comic was long in production: the first half was on the original comic, but the second half required me to make an entirely separate scan. It originally had something to do with Death himself, but I decided that the plot would do much better going in a different direction.
  • Remember the guy with the white sphere head from number 3? Also, look at the panel before that one - it's Zips!
  • Paradoxium used to be large - over 100 members - but after a battle five years earlier, the number of members dropped down to 20-30 members.
  • Quick reminder: A Paradoxian is anybody that can summon a Paradox Orb.

Paradoxium Returns #13: First Layer

Why wasn't there a comic last week? Simply put: boxes. Also, as Christmas is fast approaching (and there's something special I want to do for the comic), the comic posting rate may become erratic (Teachers love giving homework at the least opportune time). Anyways, you're all in for a treat (somewhat bitter) in this comic.

Jijjy, please don't stand on the chair. It's imported polyester.

Notes:
  • I based the gaining of Paradoxian abilities on the modern regeneration scenes of Doctor Who. Actually, let's call it an homage.
  • Paradoxium's mission is revealed in this comic. Remember it.
  • Not that it's important (probably), but Rackat began the process first.
  • That box is being converted into Entropic Forces. That is not what the white stuff in the Shadow Dimension is.
As always, if you have any questions, others probably have the same ones. Leave a comment (or e-mail me; preferably a comment) with your question, and I'll respond to it in the way that I see fit (possibly with my own voice on YouTube?)

Paradoxium Returns #10: In the Shadows

Number 10! w00t! Okay, not much special here happens, but I do hint at... something. (Evil laughter)

I think Thoz and Ellesmara could use a more... supportive household.

Notes:
  • This is the 83rd Dimension. You heard me - Dimension. I'll explain later.
  • I really love this place.
  • Vinis is a Shadow Being, if I haven't already said that.

Paradoxium Returns #4: Nieri

Hey, look at that! We're on time this week! Hooray! Did you notice the "Previous" and "Next" comic buttons on the posts with the comics? I thought those would be handy, seeing the obscene amount of posts between #1 and #2 and thought, "Nobody's going to read these if they have to do something like that each time." Anyways, this comic, like always, deals with plot development. But in this one, a major plot element shows up, and we introduce a brand-new character.

Knock-knock! Who's there? KABOOM!

Notes
  • I can't believe I forgot to put it in - the blue guy is Jijjy de Nieri.
  • This IS important - Jijjy is Zips's brother. It's no secret.
  • Every character in this comic - referenced to in speech or image - is a character that will make an appearance. Not important, but fun.
  • Jijjy is short for Jijerim.
  • I had to freehand Jijjy in this one. That was kinda tough.

Paradoxium Returns #0: Cipher (Original)

If you're joining us for the first time, welcome to Paradoxium Returns! At time of writing, there has been over 6 years of worldbuilding going into this comic.

Well, here it is, the moment we've all been waiting for: the first Paradoxium Returns Comic EVER! Also, if you have any suggestions or questions, please leave them in the comments section.
Notes
  • That "POP!" in Panel 11 is Krem teleporting to safety. The coward.
  • When did Zips get captured? Somewhere between panels 4 and 6. A piece of paper only holds so much space.
  • Doesn't make much sense? Don't worry, all should be made clear.
  • If you ever describe Zips to anybody, call him a rabbit or a cat. NEVER A POKEMON.

Rise of Paradoxium: An Intro

Hello, everybody! This is a blog designed for one purpose: to display the new webcomic that I'm working on called Paradoxium Returns. It's mainly about two aliens known as Otroid and their adventures throughout the Omniverse as new recruits to the organization known as Paradoxium, which exists inter-dimensionally.

That might be a bit much to start off with, but I feel that it was necessary for a basic premise. The comics themselves take about 45 minutes to draw, but even longer to illustrate in Adobe Illustrator. I predict that it will take about a week to get each colored comic up, maybe sooner, maybe not.

I surely hope that you'll enjoy them,
